Want a dog, but only have room for a cat in your life? Gem may be just the cat for you!
This handsome 2-year-old tuxedo cat has gobs of good vibes and personality. He loves to play energetically and, as a bonus, he’s a cuddly, talkative guy.
Once he gets to know you he’ll likely follow you around the house and wait for a chance to interact.
“He’s got so much character. I just love this guy,” says Sheila Quinn, manager at FAAS’s South Shore Adoption Center (AKA the Cat Experience) where Gem currently resides.
Gem has become something of a local celebrity during his time with FAAS. Passersby who see him through the window take note of his distinctive tuxedo markings—one leg looks like he stepped in a bucket of white paint—and his penchant for engagement with people.
They go in just to meet him in person. Then they become regular visitors. One of his fans even paid his adoption fee! So if you adopt him, he’ll be fee-free!
