The Alameda Chamber & Economic Alliance is calling on aspiring leaders from diverse backgrounds within the community to apply for the 2024-2025 Leadership Alameda program. According to organizers, interested individuals are encouraged to act swiftly to secure their spot in this highly sought-after professional development program, which will start this September and finish with graduation in June 2025.
Leadership Alameda encompasses a comprehensive curriculum designed to empower individuals with the knowledge, skills, and connections necessary to become effective leaders in Alameda. The program is open to adults of all ages who are passionate about business and leadership development.
“Leadership Alameda is a transformative experience that equips participants with the tools they need to make a real impact in their careers and here in Alameda,” said Madlen Saddik, President & CEO of the Alameda Chamber & Economic Alliance. “We are seeking individuals from diverse backgrounds who are eager to exemplify the business community and drive positive change in Alameda.”
This program is especially valuable for new residents, professionals with a growth mindset, and business owners who are looking to establish meaningful connections within Alameda. It’s also an excellent resource for professional development at all stages of a career. Kelsey Goeres will be representing the Alameda Post taking part in the 2024-25 Leadership Alameda program.
The current tuition for Leadership Alameda is $1,495 for chamber members ($1,695 for non-members) plus a $100 non-refundable application fee. Tuition covers all sessions, lunches, break refreshments, class materials, field trips, graduation dinner, and ceremony. In past years, some employers have used the program as a reward for high achievers.
