The handsome, smart, and super-sweet two-year-old guy needs to be the only cat in your house because he isn’t a cat person. He’s a character to behold—and someone you’ll never forget once you meet him!
Auggie has been with an amazing foster parent but she could only keep him until September. He needs a forever home or another foster family ASAP! Unfortunately, FAAS can’t take him back to the shelter because of his feelings about others of his species.
Here’s a great description from his foster:
“Auggie is an incredibly smart, slightly crazy, and super loving kitty who only has two speeds: 0 or 100. He will be your permanent shadow who likes to watch his toy birds or snuggle in bed, or a chatty high-energy acrobat who loves his string toys and playing ‘catch’ with his toy mice.”
Sometimes his high energy can translate into play fighting, but if you don’t allow it and maintain well-defined boundaries, he will stop and be perfectly content to be your sidekick who will have a lot to say about whatever you’re doing around the house. He loves being around people, but he also likes his alone time, and is perfectly content with entertaining himself while you are at work. He’s a sweet kitty who loves to play, loves his food, and loves his people.”
