Streets Closed for EBMUD Paving December 4-7

Several Alameda streets will be closed fr0m Monday through Thursday, December 4-7, while East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) contractors conduct final paving as part of the Oakland Inner Harbor Pipeline Crossing Project.

During the paving process, heavy equipment will be used, and the following roads will be closed or partially closed:

  • December 4 – 5: Sherman Street, from Lincoln Avenue to Atlantic Avenue.
  • December 6: Atlantic Avenue.
  • December 7: Challenger Drive and Marina Village Parkway.

Please be advised that no parking will be allowed in the work area, and detours and traffic delays are to be expected. If you need to use your vehicle, please refrain from parking it in your driveway or on the impacted streets the night before.

Expect noise and dust during scheduled work hours, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting and subject to change.
