Want to pay your electric bill, see how much you actually use daily or even hourly, and do it all on your phone? There’s an app for that! Alameda Municipal Power (AMP), our 100% clean energy electric company owned by our community, has announced the launch of its new customer mobile app, myAMP.

The new app—and a new online customer service portal—allow AMP customers to access their SmartMeter data, compare electricity use over time, pay bills quickly and securely, and manage all accounts with access to Smart Forms and service requests.
For existing customers, online customer portal access and login remain the same, but it now comes with a whole lot more. Customers may download the MyAMP app now on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
The new myAMP mobile app was developed in collaboration with silverblaze Solutions, an award-winning software innovation, development and consulting firm. Designed to be used on all smart devices, the new mobile app provides secure access to expanded payment options, online billing, SmartMeter data, and instant push notifications, according to the launch announcement.
“We are excited to bring Alameda utility customers a true mobile solution that gives them everything they need in a convenient place,” said Kim Ratliff, Project Manager at silverblaze.
AMP’s new mobile app upgrade comes from a long partnership between Alameda Municipal Power and Harris Utility Group. AMP also utilizes NorthStar Utilities Solutions’ CIS & Billing software for seamless account management.
