Rhythmix Cultural Works benefit to feature Pacific Mambo Orchestra, food and wine tastings, and raffle
Grammy Award-winning Pacific Mambo Orchestra is set to headline the Pour Your HeART Out benefit for Youth Arts Education on August 4 at Rhythmix Cultural Works, 2513 Blanding Avenue.

The event, which runs from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., aims to support the Rhythmix PAL (Performance, Art, & Learning) program, which has served over 108,000 Alameda County students with multicultural arts education assemblies since 2012.
Attendees can expect an afternoon of live entertainment, food from local eateries, and exclusive wine and beer tastings. The event will take place in the Rhythmix courtyard, with seating arranged in tables of eight or more.
Pacific Mambo Orchestra
The Pacific Mambo Orchestra, known for their genre-bending originals and covers, will bring their infectious energy and superb musicianship to the stage. The band has gained international acclaim, performing at prestigious festivals worldwide, including the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and the Monterey Jazz Festival in California.
Known for their ability to blend diverse musical styles, the orchestra’s repertoire includes original compositions alongside innovative covers of classics by artists like Stevie Wonder and Dizzy Gillespie.
Food, wine, beer tastings
Local food vendors participating in the event include C’era Una Volta, Café Jolie, Donut Petit, Julie’s Coffee & Tea Garden, Shanvi Indian Kitchen & Grocery, Tahina Fresh Mediterranean, The Preacher’s Daughter, and Trabocco Kitchen & Cocktails.
Wine and beer tastings will be provided by Cary Q Wines, Dashe Cellars, Desire Lines Wine Co., Drake’s Brewing Co., Faction Brewing, Park Station Tap House, Urban Legend Cellars, and Wente Vineyards. Non-alcoholic mocktails will be available from Julie’s Coffee & Tea.

Raffle and auction
In addition to live music and culinary offerings, attendees can participate in a wine raffle and online silent auction. Prizes include premium wines, tickets to live events, gift cards, and wine tastings.
All proceeds from the fundraiser, raffle, and auction will support the continued growth of the Rhythmix PAL program. The initiative aims to foster awareness of world cultures and empower underserved youth through exposure to educational music and dance performances.
“PAL assemblies serve as a catalyst for arts learning and a springboard for integrating arts education in the classroom,” Rhythmix Cultural Works states.
The organization believes that exposure to the arts can be a transformative experience and a catalyst for cultural celebration. Developed in collaboration with the Alameda Unified School District, the PAL program has been making a significant impact on local students for over a decade.
Tickets and seating
Pour Your HeART Out will take place outside in the Rhythmix courtyard. Please bring hats, sunscreen and layers. Seating will be reserved on a first-purchased, first-reserved basis, encouraging attendees to gather in groups and secure their preferred spots early.
Guests will be seated at tables of 8 or more, Please purchase all tickets for your entire party together. A table for eight costs $1,000 plus service fee ($30); seating in the first two rows is guaranteed. Single tickets cost $150 each plus service fee ($3.75).
