Tidus Adorabilus

Pet of the Week for November 30, 2024

We’re going to keep this holiday Pet of the Week short and adorable—just like its star. (Those ears!!!)

Three-month-old Tidus is “short” for now, especially compared with what he will be when he is fully grown. He’s likely a German shepherd-Bernese Mountain dog mix, so while he’s only 25 pounds now, there will soon be a lot of him to love!

He already has a big voice, big paws, a big heart—and some big, sharp baby teeth! He also has big energy so whoever adopts him will need to work with him to fend off and gently correct his mouthiness and chewing behaviors.

Since Tidus is in the shark-teeth phase, a dog-savvy home would be ideal. Another confident dog in the home would also be a plus to help redirect some of that puppy energy!

All FAAS canine adopters will receive behavior resources, so we will make sure you and Tidus are set up for success.

If you’d like to meet this fun, zesty pup, stop by the FAAS main shelter at 1590 Fortmann Way. Our new adoption hours, starting December 1, will be Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
