Tee Off this Summer with Alameda Junior Golf

Alameda Junior Golf Association (AJGA) provides organized recreational golf basics and playing opportunities for junior golfers aged 7 to 18 throughout the year, as well as weekly summer tournaments at Corica Park. The 2023 tournaments will take place every Wednesday, from June 14 through August 9. Golfers aged 7 to 11 will play on the MIF par 3 course, while those aged 12 to 18 will play on the North Course. Juniors play within their own age and gender groupings. Golf clinics for beginners and those who would like to refresh their skills are offered from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Driving Range.

AJGA emphasizes adherence to the rules of golf as well as good behavior, language, and sportsmanship. Accurate score-keeping, promptness to schedules, and care of the course are required. The main goal is to learn and experience the joy of playing the game. Applications are available at Corica Park and Alameda Golf Works at 1710 Lincoln Ave., or may be downloaded online. Dues are $50 per year. For more information, please visit the AJGC website, call 510-521-4727, or email [email protected].
