Meet Hudson, the Snuggly Rock Star

Pet of the Week for November 16, 2024

Hudson is a handsome hunk who radiates happiness! He’s also a big ham, as you can probably tell by his photos.

He wears his heart on his sleeve and it’s a heart full of love, curiosity, and joy. He could win an Oscar for his expressive face.

The 1.5-year-old loves to snuggle. He’s super affectionate and would love to be your lapdog. The cutie patootie is energetic but nothing over the top for his age. He has a pretty good on-off switch.

The one time his on-off switch reliably gets stuck to “on” is when he meets a new playmate. He loves other dogs and is a fan of dog parks. Some dogs don’t mind this energy, but he may need a little reining in because his enthusiasm isn’t necessarily every dog’s cup of tea.

He’s great in a home situation—housetrained, not destructive. He’s doing well in a foster situation now, and would love a forever home, though it shouldn’t have small pets or children because of his verve.

If you’d like to meet Hudson, call Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter at 510-337-8565 and they can arrange a meeting through his foster.
