HAPPY HALLOWEEN Alameda! – Part 2

Bear’s-Eye View of Alameda for October 29, 2023

Hopefully everyone had a change to view my special video report that appeared here in the Alameda Post on Friday. If you missed it, you can check it out using the link.

Alameda Post - Bear's Eye View of Alameda for October 29, 2023 - Bear and his human companion dressed as ghosts for Halloween

On Saturday, my human companion and I finished up our matching ghost costumes. In the image above, I am the one on the left. Be sure to say hi if you see us on the street.

While I tried to cover all the major decorations, I was not able to fit them all in the special feature, so I decided to post the ones I missed on Friday as part of my regular Sunday report. I covered 1826 Alameda Ave., 1410 Santa Clara Ave., some assorted locations, and a nice pirate yard on Fernside Drive that is worth the drive.

Each year, the house located at 1803 San Antonio Avenue goes all out on their Halloween display with a special theme that has a political twist to it. I am a nonpartisan canine and I have no political leanings one way or the other. So, I have covered this particular yard display simply for it’s entertainment value.

I did want to give a big shout out to the Alameda Fire Department for sponsoring a huge pumpkin giveaway.  Thanks for all you do for the community!

Happy Halloween everyone! See you on the street.
