Pet of the Week for April 6, 2024
Handsome Samson is going to make some very lucky person or family very happy—he’s an exceptional pet. He’s friendly, sweet, playful, gets along with other dogs after proper introductions, and is just an utterly delightful dog. He has a magnificently goofy side as well. What’s not to love?
The two-year-old good boy is a staff and volunteer favorite at FAAS. He weighs 85 pounds, but is gentle and easy to walk. There’s something both regal and endearing about him. It’s a heart-melting combination. Check out this video FAAS posted when Samson spent a day this week hanging out with staff in the FAAS office.
You can meet Samson any day but Monday from noon to 4 p.m. at the FAAS main shelter at 1590 Fortmann Way, and learn more about him on the FAAS website—he has his own page. Take him for a walk, have a little talk, get to know this incredible sweetheart of a dog, and maybe make him your BFF.
Good news! Through the month of April, it costs only $40 to adopt any adult pet, including Samson!
