March 13 Kickoff Party to Benefit Food Bank
Alameda Restaurant Week returns March 14-23 for its eighth annual celebration. Dozens of local eateries will offer special menus and promotions throughout the 10-day event that showcases the island’s culinary scene.
It all starts with an all-ages Kickoff Party on Thursday, March 13, 5:30-8:30 p.m., at Faction Brewery, 2501 Monarch Street. Enjoy small bites from local restaurants, Faction beer and non-alcoholic beverages, music from a guest DJ, games, photo booth, and stunning waterfront views. Eats and drinks will be provided by Faction, Ceron, Saltbreaker, Spinning Bones, Bacogi, Shaka Shak, Southern Comfort Kitchen, East Ocean Seafood, and more.
And here’s the best part: A portion of the proceeds from the Kickoff Party will benefit Alameda Food Bank, which relies on individual donations for 84% of its funding. Support this vital community resource and enjoy a fabulous evening. General Admission tickets for the Kickoff Party cost $33.85 and are available online now.
