Celeste is an adorable tan and tricolor Belgian Malinois mix, about a year and two months old, completely house-trained and family oriented, and is already convinced that you are her favorite person, even if she hasn’t met you yet.

Well mannered and endlessly affectionate, this golden beauty is the kind of dog who makes everyone around her feel like the luckiest person in the room—partly because she is kissing them.

This lovely girl is curious about everything—snacks, new people, what you are doing in the kitchen, and whether that cucumber is for her (spoiler: she thinks it is, and she is not wrong). She loves to train, run, and then come back home afterward and remind you exactly how affectionate she is. She is goofy. She is charming. And she is looking for a family she can fully claim as her own.

That’s really what Celeste is about: family. She wants to be in the middle of it all, part of the routine, your permanent shadow on morning runs and your biggest fan at the end of the day. She’s not looking for a quiet corner, she’s looking for her people to love.

Celeste has a ton of love to give and has absolutely no plans to stop showing it. If you are ready for a dog who is going to throw herself into your life with her whole heart, she’s the one for you. She is ready to make you her forever family.

Celeste is currently in foster care. To meet her in person, please call Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter at 510-337-8565.
