AUSD Welcomes New Administrators

Our schools opened on August 15 and it was wonderful to see students arriving on our campuses, eager to begin the work of learning and be with their peers.

AUSD welcomed back more than 9,000 students when schools opened last week, including about 250 4-year-old “Transitional Kindergarten” students. To be eligible, the students need to turn 5 between September 2, 2024, and June 2, 2025. Photo AUSD.

We’d like to thank our hardworking teachers and site staff for their impressive work handling the first several days of school, when we know there is a lot to manage and set in place. We’d also like to thank the custodians and maintenance workers who put in many long hours this summer cleaning and maintaining our schools so that they would be ready to go when staff returned. The schools look beautiful, and we appreciate your work!

This year, we’re excited to announce the hiring of more than a half-dozen new site administrators who bring a wealth of education, experience, enthusiasm, and passion to their new roles here. Welcome to these administrators.
