The City of Alameda, through its Base Reuse and Economic Development Department, has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the sale of Building 92, a historic property located at 650 West Ranger Avenue in Alameda Point. The 89,000-square-foot commercial building, situated on an approximately three-acre site, “presents a prime opportunity for adaptive reuse in a growing area,” according to the City’s announcement.

The building is located near successful adaptive reuse projects including the Storehouse Lofts, Building 91 housing Almanac Beer Co. and The Rake at Admiral Maltings, The Hub pickleball sports club and SoFive soccer center, and two built and approved residential communities totaling approximately 1,400 homes.
The City is seeking buyers with proposals that align with its economic development goals and offer significant community benefits.
