Pet of the Week for May 16, 2026
Say hello to Shellsea, a dazzling 3-year-old girl with a personality just as striking as her beautiful spotted coat. From the moment you meet her, it’s impossible not to be charmed by her larger-than-life spirit and joyful enthusiasm for the world around her. Shellsea is the kind of dog who wakes up every day ready for adventure and she’s hoping to find a family who’s just as excited to experience life with her.

This playful queen absolutely thrives on activity. An afternoon swim? Yes, please. A game of tug-of-war? Of course. She’s energetic, smart, and always eager to engage with her people in fun and meaningful ways. But beyond all that excitement is an incredibly affectionate dog who truly loves soaking up attention from the people she trusts most.
Shellsea is still learning how to channel her enthusiasm, and she would blossom in a home ready to provide patient guidance, consistency, and lots of positive reinforcement. The wonderful thing about Shellsea is how eager she is to connect. She wants to learn, play, and be part of the action. She has done well redirecting her attention around other dogs, staying focused and relatively non-reactive during walks.
We absolutely adore Shellsea’s vibrant spirit and loving heart, and we know the right family will too. If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy with endless charm and personality, Shellsea may be your perfect match.
Shellsea is currently with a foster, so to meet her please give FAAS a call at 510-337-8565.
