Pet of the Week for July 13, 2024
Just look at that beautiful pup! Lima is an adorable 5-month-old Husky who is smart, friendly, and a total sweetheart.

It’s hard to believe this sweet girl was brought to FAAS after being abandoned in a grocery store parking lot, tied to a pole with an electrical cord used as a leash. She was just a few months old.
Fortunately, Lima went straight into the loving arms of FAAS staff members, who have been nurturing her naturally sweet nature since the moment she arrived. And as you can see by the photos, being abandoned didn’t affect her naturally sweet nature and extremely affectionate personality.

Lima is a friendly, smart girl who has so much to give—she just needs someone she can relish with affection. She gets along well with other dogs and is a joy to be with. She recently visited FAAS’s Thrifty Kitty, where she enjoyed hugs and snuggles with everyone who wanted to interact with her.
Read more about Lima on her FAAS bio page and meet her in person during regular visiting hours, Tuesday through Sunday, noon to 4 p.m., at the FAAS main shelter, 1590 Fortmann Way.
