Alameda Kiwanis Annual Chili Cookoff Fundraiser Almost Sold Out

If you want to taste the best chili in town—and support Alameda’s nonprofits that serve children, youth, and families—get your tickets to the Kiwanis Club’s 23rd annual Chili Cookoff now, as the popular event is almost sold out.

The Chili Cookoff is set for Saturday, February 1, 5 to 9 p.m., at the DeWitt Officers Club, 641 West Redline Avenue, Alameda Point. The chili tasting will be followed by a silent auction of merchant- and member-donated baskets, a full-meat barbecue dinner and sides by Back Forty, live music, dancing, entertainment, and an auction/raffle for high ticket items.
