A pot boiler reaches its flash point and becomes a real page-ripper

Alameda Post - a drawing of a book with the title "Predicting the Past with Haruspex"

Rosco rarely reads anything but palms, bird entrails, Magic 8-Balls and tea leaves. Nonetheless, to impress visitors to his home, Rosco randomly buys a book. He starts reading this self-published tome on the very first day of June. The book gets off to a slow start, but the writer learns quickly—it is his first book.

Day one Rosco reads only 7 pages before returning to afternoon game shows. On the second day he reads 15 pages, the third day 24, the fourth 34, and so on. As he nears the end of the book, he reads even while driving on cruise control. Reading every day, Rosco finishes his book on the very last day of June.

Given the sequence, how many pages P did this pot boiler contain?
