Woodstock Expands Weekend Shuttle Service Across the Estuary

The Oakland-Alameda Water Shuttle’s expanded weekend schedule is back! On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, the free shuttle—affectionately known as Woodstock—will again offer departures from 7:20 a.m. to 9:36 p.m. The weekday schedule (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) remains the same.

Whether you’re commuting or cruising, Woodstock’s got you covered six days a week. The free, bike-friendly shuttle runs between Alameda and Oakland Tuesday through Sunday, with a seven-minute free ride across the estuary. There’s no service on Monday.

Woodstock is wheelchair accessible and accommodates up to 31 passengers and 14 bicycles (on bike racks). Catch it in Alameda at the Bohol Circle Immigrant Park dock at the end of Fifth Street (behind Target). It ferries passengers across the estuary to Jack London Square in Oakland (at the foot of Broadway).

The schedule on SF Bay Ferry is in a different format and includes the best trips to take to connect with ferry service to San Francisco from the Oakland Ferry Terminal.
