Here’s some good news for ardent Halloween fans: It’s not over yet! There’s still time to vote for your favorite pumpkin in Alameda Recreation and Parks Department’s Decorated Pumpkin Contest.
The pumpkins were decorated by participants in ARPD programs at various park sites. They worked hard at it, and they’re looking for bragging rights, not to mention prizes. Some park sites are already leading by a slim margin so your vote can break a tie and push them over the top. You can vote as many times as you want.
Get a close-up look at the pumpkins at ARPD’s Halloween Pumpkin Decorating Contest web page and send an email to [email protected] with the name of your favorite pumpkin(s). You can send as many emails as you want, so vote vote vote.
The last day to email your votes is this Saturday, November 11.
