UPDATE: Tickets No Longer Available to Ride Ferry in Lighted Yacht Parade

Tickets are on sale now sold out to ride aboard the fully decorated SF Bay Ferry for the 47th Annual Lighted Yacht Parade on Saturday, December 2. Due to high demand this year, this is a ticketed, reservation-based event.

The round-trip excursion from Alameda’s Seaplane Ferry Terminal is a floating party with all the trimmings. Expect holiday lights and decorations, a fabulous festive crew, hot chocolate and adult drinks from the onboard snack bar, treats and swag for both kids and adults, lots of family fun and activities for the kids, and amazing views of both the lighted yachts sailing in the Estuary and the businesses along the Alameda and Oakland shoreline.

Boarding begins at approximately 4:45 p.m., but you will probably want to get there at least a half-hour earlier to snag a good parking spot and place in line at the Seaplane Ferry Terminal, 1701 Ferry Point Road. The ferry will depart at 5 p.m. for the 2023 Lighted Yacht Parade and return to the Seaplane terminal at about 7 p.m.

Tickets are $4.60 for adults or $2.30 for seniors and those with disabilities. Every passenger who brings a new, unwrapped toy for the Oakland firefighters’ holiday toy drive will receive a complimentary ticket for a future ferry ride on the date of their choice.

Purchase tickets on the SF Bay Ferry Lighted Yacht Parade web page or the SF Bay Ferry mobile app. Download the free app on the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android).
