Like many Aussies, she takes her responsibilities seriously — and in her case, that means gently keeping tabs on her people. If someone wanders into another room, don’t be surprised if she follows along, making sure the whole group stays together.
Oona’s loyalty shines through in everything she does. Whether she’s accompanying her favorite humans on a neighborhood walk, exploring the backyard, or simply relaxing nearby after a busy day, she’s happiest when she’s part of the action. She loves companionship and has an easygoing, adaptable temperament that makes her a wonderful fit for a variety of households.
At a perfect medium size, she’s equally suited for outdoor adventures and cozy evenings on the couch. She brings the best of both worlds — playful enough to keep life interesting, calm enough to enjoy quiet moments, and affectionate enough to make every day feel a little brighter.

Meet Oona at 1590 Fortmann Way, Wednesday and Thursday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shelter is closed daily for nap time from 1 to 2 p.m.
