This annual event offers a unique opportunity to connect Alameda’s future workforce with potential employers, summer internships, and career development resources. Local employers can meet motivated students eager to gain real-world experience and apply the skills they’ve learned in the classroom.

More than 600 students attended last year’s event, and even more are expected to attend this year. Students from all Alameda high schools are invited to the free event to explore diverse career paths with more than 40 organizations, including local employers, trade organizations, educational institutions, and City-sponsored internships.

In addition to meeting potential employers, students can access a wide range of summer opportunities and a resume help desk for students seeking guidance on the most effective ways to format or update their resumes. Students who bring their resumes will also be entered into a raffle drawing.

Organizations and employers offering summer jobs, internships, or educational opportunities are encouraged to participate. Register online for a FREE table at the event by Friday, March 14.

The Youth Career & Job Fair is supported by AUSD, Alameda Collaborative for Children, Youth, and Their Families (ACCYF), the City of Alameda, Alameda County Supervisor Lena Tam, and the Alameda Chamber & Economic Alliance.
