Bear’s-Eye View of Alameda for October 31, 2024
While this past weekend was the time for Alamedans to party and have time to recover from the celebration, today is the day for taking to the streets, showing off your costume, and later in the day, to trick or treat.
I am really excited about this year’s Sherlock Bones costume and can’t wait to hit the streets. I want to thank Deborah Wright of Wild Woman Design for making the alterations on my deerstalker hat, V.S. for holding the treats during the photoshoot, and of course my HC (human companion) for being my trusty sidekick HC Watson. Additionally, I want to give a shoutout to the folks that run the Meyers House where I took the picture.
I would be remiss if I did not thank the Alameda Post for publishing my weekly reports on Sundays. THANK YOU to Adam and all the Post staff. Also, thanks to all the moderators that allow me to post the Bear’s-Eye View of Alameda on their group pages.
Before I go, I want to remind everyone about Xylitol, which is a sugar substitute found in many hard candies that is deadly to dogs. So, let’s be careful out there.
Happy Halloween Everyone!
