Daisy is a beautiful white and cream Alaskan Husky mix who is about 6 years old with a lot of love to give. She is an energetic, happy girl who enjoys being active, but she also knows how to settle down and relax when the day is done.
Super loving with the people she knows, Daisy enjoys spending time with her humans and being part of whatever they are doing. She loves toys, especially tennis balls, and would be a great companion for someone who enjoys walks, hikes, swimming, or simply getting outside.
Daisy is also a very smart and trainable dog. She has had training in the past, knows her name and responds well to commands and redirection. She enjoys learning and is the type of dog who wants to understand what is being asked of her. With a patient person who continues to work with her, Daisy has plenty of potential to learn even more.
At home, Daisy is house-trained and well-behaved. After getting some exercise and attention, she is happy to relax with her toys or settle in for a nap. Daisy would prefer to be the only dog in her home, although she may potentially do well with a dog who has a compatible energy level and personality.

Meet Daisy at FAAS, 1590 Fortmann Way, Wednesday and Thursday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shelter is closed daily from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. for naptime.
