Tryouts are August 26 at Pat Bail Field
After winning the Bay Area Collegiate League 2023 Championship and making it to the semifinals of the West Coast World Series this summer, the Alameda Anchors Baseball Club is expanding its success to high school-age baseball players.

“We are creating competitive high school-age teams with a focus on development and learning the game,” said Anchors owner/general manager Tony Cecaci, who also coaches at Bishop O’Dowd High School in Oakland.
The two new Anchors-affiliated teams will participate in the East Bay Fall League (EBFL) and will play in three tournaments, including the Desert Fall Classic in Las Vegas, and the New Year’s Baseball Fest in Mesa, Arizona. (See schedule.) Their home field will be College of Alameda’s Pat Bail Field, a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II field.
Tryouts for the new teams—ages 18 and under and 16 and under—will be held on Saturday, August 26, 4 to 6 p.m, at Pat Bail Field. Interested players should complete an online application on the Anchors website as soon as possible. For more information, email [email protected].
