In her latest newsletter, Assemblymember Mia Bonta informed constituents that AC Transit made changes to scheduling and bus line service that went into effect on June 16.

“This will impact commuters throughout the District and the greater East Bay, so having awareness is essential to planning your commute effectively,” Assemblymember Bonta stated.
Details of all the changes effective June 16 are available online. Here are some highlights:
- Suspension of School Services: Trips that operate only on school days are suspended for the summer. This includes lines 39, 51A, 57, 72M, 76, 93, 95, 97, and 600 through 699 with more details here.
- Stop Changes for All Nighter Lines: Lines 800, 802, 805, 840, and 851. Bus stop changes at 14th St. and Broadway to facilitate transfers between the All-Nighter lines and to accommodate anticipated service disruptions along 14th St. due to construction with more details here.
- Early Bird Service Adjustments: Schedule adjustments will be made for Early Bird lines 701, 702, and 706. The Early Bird service replaces BART service during early morning hours with further details here.
- Minor Schedule Changes: Minor adjustments – by a few minutes – for lines 1T, 7, 14, 33, 40, and 86 lines.

In addition, AC Transit is rolling out bus lane enforcement citations throughout the Tempo Line 1T Corridor for illegally parked vehicles.
