The plans are shaping up quite well,
It seems the Fourth’s a go!
All the neighbors think it’s swell
We’re ready for the show!
We try to do this every year,
We’re right by the parade
And folks have made it very clear
They’re with the plans we’ve laid.
The block is closed, the food is prepped,
No traffic is allowed.
We’ve all agreed that we accept
Whoever’s in our crowd.
It’s great how we all simply get along
Because we know that all of us belong.
