Lilypad is a sweet and gentle soul who adores the quiet comforts of home. The sturdy 5-year-old is currently on a journey to embrace a healthier weight, and she’s hoping to find a dedicated family willing to support her with patience and gentle encouragement every step of the way.

Don’t let her love for the couch fool you. While she’s a master of relaxation, she appreciates regular, easy walks and soft playtime to keep her spirits up. She’ll let you know when it’s time for a little rest!

She’s generally relaxed around other dogs, but she absolutely does best with calm, gentle canine friends who respect her space. She might even prefer the steady company of an older, larger dog rather than a very playful, high-energy youngster.
