Bordeaux Wants to Be Your Valentine

Handsome older man Bordeaux is a class act. He’s well-mannered, sweet, affectionate, and laid back. You see him sauntering down the sidewalk and you think, “Now there’s a real gentleman.”

He’s also an expressive, lovely soul. If this 8-year-old were a human, he might be an actor. He sometimes does something at mealtime that melts everyone’s hearts—he picks up his food bowl and waits patiently for his breakfast or dinner, his graying face looking stoic, yet hopeful.

Bordeaux walks well on a leash. He’s usually really easy, but might occasionally pull a bit if he sees a small dog or bird. (No worries, he’s easy to distract with food treats.) Since he has a decent dose of prey drive, it’s best if there are no small animals in the house. Older kids are OK.

You can meet Bordeaux in person during FAAS’s adoption hours, Tuesday through Sunday, noon to 4 p.m., at 1590 Fortmann Way.  See his online profile for more information and some great photos of this adorable guy.
