Pet of the Week for May 3, 2025
Autumn leaves no heart unturned. This 1.5-year-old is a gentle soul with a shy heart and a whole lot of love to give. She’s looking for a calm, quiet home where she can feel safe and take her time getting comfortable.
Once she trusts you, Autumn is incredibly loyal, affectionate, and will always be by your side. She enjoys peaceful walks, where she can take in the sights and smells at her own pace. She also loves sunbathing on the grass and feeling the breeze on her sweet little face.
With a little patience and a lot of love, Autumn will blossom into your most devoted companion.
You can visit her during adoption hours, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter, 1590 Fortmann Way. There’s a chance she’ll be in foster care soon, so you might want to call FAAS (510-337-8565) before coming in to see her.
