18th Annual Frank Bette Plein Air Paintout

The Frank Bette Plein Air Paintout hosts 40 juried artists for a week. Artists will paint tree-lined streets, stately Victorian homes, quaint shops, picturesque marinas, historic naval ships, as well as beaches, lagoons, parks, and San Francisco and Oakland skylines from the island city of Alameda, CA

Sign up at Neptune Court (near Daiso) at South Shore Center from 8:30- 9:30 am
Paint from 9-11:30
Bring your art to South Shore Center by noon
Exhibit and Sale 1:00-6:00
This year’s Quick Draw will be along Grand Street and one block either side, from the bay to the estuary.
Paint from 9-11:30 then bring your art to South Shore Center by noon to display and/or sell. All sales go through Frank Bette Center for the Arts. Artists receive 60% and Frank Bette Center 40%.
As part of this year’s Quick Draw we are inviting community members of all ages to paint alongside our artists. For $10 you can display and/or sell your artwork at our Quick Draw Sale at South Shore Center.
Youngsters under 18 will need parental permission.
