After three months of successful service, over 34,000 rides taken and 7,400 bikes carried, the Oakland Alameda Water Shuttle [1], commonly known as Woodstock, will launch a new service schedule on Wednesday, November 6. The new schedule will add 52 more runs each week and provide more frequent service.
[2]Highlights of the new schedule include:
- 52 additional trips per week—eight more trips on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 12 more trips Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
- Higher frequency service.
- Later morning start times—15 to 40 minutes later.
- Extended evening service—30 to 60 minutes later.
- Two service schedules (instead of three)—one for Wednesday/Thursday and one for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Continue operating Wednesdays to Sundays
