Noisy paving work to continue throughout the morning on Friday, May 3

Be warned: The City of Alameda [1] will continue to remove existing railroad tracks and prepare Clement Avenue [2] for paving this Thursday evening, May 2, starting at 10 p.m., and then noisy paving work will continue throughout the morning on Friday, May 3.

This work, which is part of the Clement Avenue project construction [3], is similar to what has been completed on Clement Avenue between Broadway and Willow Street in recent weeks.

This safety corridor project is funded by a federal grant and Measures B/BB, which are administered by the Alameda County Transportation Commission [6].
