Get Rid of Hazardous Waste for Free

StopWaste drop-off event this Sunday, August 10

Need to get rid of batteries, pesticides, old cleaners, expired medicine, and e-waste piling up in your home? Safely dispose of hazardous waste for free at a one-day drop-off event on Sunday, August 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event is open to all Alameda County residents. Advance registration is required. The drop-off location is in Alameda; the address will be provided with registration confirmation.

Make an appointment

Register for the event by making an appointment, using the form on the StopWaste [2] website. The address of the drop-off event will be sent to you in the confirmation email. Space is limited, so register early.

The form will ask you to select your language, then select an available time, submit your information, and click “complete.”  You will receive an email confirmation with more details about the event.

Any information you provide when making your appointment will be kept confidential and will only be used by Alameda County Household Hazardous Waste Program and StopWaste to improve our services and programming.
