Pet of the Week for March 1, 2025
Henley [1] is a very handsome, very sweet, very, very good boy. He was much loved before he arrived at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter a few days ago, and he would like to be in a very loving home as soon as possible. (He’s wearing his best tie to make himself look extra appealing for his future family.)
[2]This 65-pound four-year-old is a real find—a true gem. Everything about Henley is top-notch. He’s friendly, affectionate, polite when meeting new people, good with other dogs, playful, energetic (but with a good off-button), loves to snuggle, easy to walk, sleeps through the night, potty trained, and very engaging.
Oh, and if you like road trips, he’s the dog for you. He traveled cross-country multiple times with his former owner, by car and air.
[3]FAAS recently took him and several other dogs to an adoption event at Alameda Brewing, and he interacted with people and dogs beautifully. If you’re looking for a perfect family member, he may well be the one.
