Local Residents Invited to Serve on Alameda CTC Advisory/Watchdog Committees

Do you have suggestions or complaints about local transportation services? Alameda District 3 Supervisor Lena Tam [1] invites you to serve on the Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC) Advisory/Watchdog Committees.

“These entities play a crucial role in shaping policies, making decisions, and representing the diverse voices within our community,” Tam stated in her latest email to constituents. “We invite residents of District 3 to consider applying to serve on the boards, commissions, and committees.”

Who can apply?

To qualify, you must either live or work in District 3, which includes residents of Alameda, Oakland (Jack London Square, Chinatown, Clinton, San Antonio, Fruitvale), San Leandro, San Lorenzo, and Hayward Acres.

How to apply

Application packets for each committee are available online, as follows:

Submit application, resume, and cover letter to Silin Huang, District Director, [email protected] [7]. Use the email subject “Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC).” If you have questions, please call 510-388-3700 for additional information.

Deadline

Applications are due on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 5 p.m.

Interviews will be held in May and June. Nominations will be determined and presented at Board Meeting after the interviews are completed, also in May and June.
