Enter to Win an Instant Rebate on a New E-Bike

Alamedans could win an instant rebate of $400 to $1,500 on a new e-bike if they are selected in one of Ava Bike Electric [1] monthly drawings. The new incentive program, sponsored by Ava Community Energy, aims to increase access to e-bikes, reduce carbon emissions, and support local businesses. Alameda Bicycle [2], located at 1522 Park Street, is participating in the program.

Those who apply and are deemed eligible to participate, will be entered into monthly random drawings for a chance to receive an instant rebate. Drawings are to be held every month until September 2026.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for the Ava Bike Electric program, applicants must be:

Eligible applicants may qualify for one instant rebate per person with a maximum of two instant rebates per household. Each person in a household must apply individually. Only one entry per person is allowed.

Rebate amounts depend on bike type and income qualification. There are no income requirements to enter the drawing, but income-qualified participants enrolled in programs such as CARE, FERA, or EAP, will also receive an additional $250 rebate for safety equipment if they are selected in the drawing.
