And of course there’s a little additional perk—handcrafted St. George Spirits cocktails and delicious local cheeses.

Shining a light on the artists working in our city [3], UPLIFT is a series of short dance films celebrating the talent and diversity of the Alameda arts scene. Set in a variety of locations across the Island, each film focuses on the work of one local artist.

Tara Pilbrow Dance [4], photographer Maurice Ramirez [5], and filmmaker Pons Maar [6] (also an actor, puppeteer, and artist) are thrilled to present the finished series in the intimate elegance of the St. George Spirits visitor center.
