All Around Alameda – Halloween is Kicking into Gear

Don’t wait until the 31st to get spooky!

If you’ve lived in Alameda for at least a year, you know that Halloween is a big deal. We can’t possibly fit all of the festivities into a single night, so we’re kicking things off this weekend. Check out the annual Teen Haunted House [1] on Friday, October 24, Saturday, October 25, and Sunday October 26. If a mix of Halloween, Oktoberfest, and pro wrestling vibes sounds good, stop by Alameda Brewing on Friday, October 24 for Brawl-O-Ween [2]. Enjoy a full dinner with a side of suspense at Ship of Spirits: Spaghetti & Spirits Paranormal Dinner [3] on the USS Hornet on Saturday, October 25. Board the aircraft carrier again the next day for the Monster’s Bash 2025. [4]For more fun on a vessel—albeit a much smaller one—grab a paddleboard for Witches (and Wizards) on Water [5] on Saturday, October 25. The same day, check out Feathered Outlaw’s annual WitchFest [6] and the Krampus Carnivale [7]. Whew, that’s a packed schedule!

WitchFest 2025: A Gathering of Witches

Saturday, October 25

Join Feathered Outlaw for the seventh annual WitchFest [6] on Saturday, October 25, from 2 until 8 p.m. This year’s festival is bigger than ever, and it will take place at Lot W, the parking lot behind Feathered Outlaw and next to Donut Petit at 712 Santa Clara Avenue.
