Now offering exclusive ferry-themed craft beverages with Humble Sea Brewing, Far West Cider. Plus, schedule changes take effect November 3
San Francisco Bay Ferry has now announced the return of its popular Brews with Views [1] program, now in its third season, with an all-new lineup featuring exclusive offerings from two celebrated Bay Area craft makers. Riders can now enjoy limited-edition ferry-themed beverages aboard every SF Bay Ferry trip, just in time for Fleet Week.

This year’s Brews with Views lineup includes:
- Hull Yeah! A Foggy IPA from Humble Sea Brewing Co. [3], which has tasting rooms near the Alameda Seaplane Lagoon Terminal and Downtown San Francisco Ferry Terminal. Double dry-hopped with Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic, it’s juicy, aromatic, and anything but ordinary.
- Personal Fruitation Device Cider. This Brazilian pink guava hard cider from The Far West Cider Co., [4] made with fruit grown and harvested on their fourth-generation family farm in San Joaquin County. It’s fermented, cellared, and bottled just across the Bay in Richmond – minutes from the Richmond Ferry Terminal.
To celebrate the launch, both participating breweries will be giving away one-way free ferry ride vouchers while supplies last. Ferry fans can claim their vouchers at Humble Sea Brewing Co.’s Pier 39 and Alameda tasting rooms or visit The Far West Cider Co. at the Ferry Building Farmers Market to grab theirs.
Both beverages will be available on board while supplies last.
“Brews with Views has become a rider favorite, and we’re thrilled to bring it back for a third season with two fantastic local partners,” said Seamus Murphy, Executive Director of SF Bay Ferry. “Pairing ferry rides with Bay Area craft beverages is a fun and flavorful way to celebrate our region, support local makers and give our riders a one-of-a-kind experience.”
Launched in 2021 to celebrate the return of ferry service, Brews with Views has grown into a signature SF Bay Ferry program, bringing together Bay Area pride, craft beer culture, and the joy of water transit. Each year features new collaborations with local producers located near ferry terminals, showcasing the communities SF Bay Ferry serves.
“There’s no better time to kick off the new season of Brews with Views than Fleet Week. We invite our riders to grab a cold one, take in the air shows and enjoy the best views in the Bay,” said Murphy.

Schedule changes
In other news, SF Ferry also has announced schedule changes that will go into effect Monday, November 3. Weekday service adjustments will impact the Alameda Seaplane and Harbor Bay routes. All other routes and schedules will remain the same until at least March 2026, with the exception of the Oakland Alameda Water Shuttle.
Here are the changes that will affect Alameda ferry travel:
- Alameda Seaplane: New westbound trips will depart Alameda Seaplane at 8:45 a.m. and 9:40 a.m. for Downtown San Francisco. These new trips will relieve congestion on the 8:20 a.m. Alameda Seaplane departure, provide more bicycle capacity in the mornings and improve trip cadence in the schedule. - Harbor Bay: The morning westbound Harbor Bay schedule will move to hourly service in the morning. The 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. departures will be eliminated. The 10:40 a.m. departure will be moved back by 10 minutes to 10:30 a.m. and the 11:50 a.m. departure will be moved back by 20 minutes to 11:30 a.m., in order to provide better trip spacing in the schedule.
