Assemblymember Mia Bonta Unveils 22-Bill Legislative Package for 2025

California District 18 Assemblymember Mia Bonta has introduced 22 bills for the 2025 legislative session. In her latest newsletter, Bonta stated that the bills span a broad range of issues that reflect the values of her district, advance key health priorities, and uplifts underserved Californians across the state.

“I’m proud to bring the priorities of the East Bay with me to the State Capitol and introduce a bold 22-bill legislative package,” Bonta stated. “This legislation will help families struggling with rising bill costs, ensure California remains a reproductive health leader, disrupt cycles of incarceration, and uplift the values of Oakland, Alameda, and Emeryville.”

She added that “all eyes will be on California to see how we continue to support bold, compassionate, and evidence-based policies in the face of federal chaos” and noted that she looks forward to working with her colleagues “to craft the best possible legislation and serve each and every Californian.”
