Math Puzzle for August 22, 2025

While trying to get to sleep, Seth counts 30°–60°–90° triangles instead of sheep

Alameda Post - a large triangle composed of increasingly small right triangles that fit together as they land [1]

Like Jacob, Seth has a vision. Not of angels, but of 30° –60°–90° triangles.

The triangles are drifting down from the Empyrean heaven and forming a large triangle. An infinite number of triangles trickle down to finally complete the stack. Seth stops counting when he reaches Avogadro’s number of triangles, then sleeps.

The right edge of the stack of triangles forms a vertical line.
The bottom most triangle has an area of 506.25 square meters.

Find the area A of the entire stack when the last triangle finally hits the stack.
