Pet of the Week for September 28, 2024
We can’t believe we can bring you a puppy this cute as our Pet of the Week just days after FAAS made her photo and story available to the public! The fact that she is still at FAAS must mean that she’s meant to be with one of the lucky readers of this feature.
Smores is a friendly 10-week-old Jack Russell mix who melts the hearts of everyone who sees her. She’s kind of like the toasted marshmallow that melts the chocolate of the edible s’mores.
This sweet, snuggly pup misses her mama. She would thrive in a home where someone is there much of the time as she acclimates. Otherwise, she cries—and this sweet little pup has a loud little voice!
Smores loves to play and wrestle. If you have another dog with the same energy and plenty of patience, Smores would love a fur sibling. But if you don’t already have another dog at home, don’t let that stop you from adopting this adorable pup. What’s most important is that she can move out of the shelter and into her own home-sweet-home as soon as possible. As wonderful as they are to her at FAAS, there’s no place like home. Especially for a homesick puppy.
Read a little more about Smores on her FAAS bio page. And head over to the shelter at 1590 Fortmann Way to meet this sweet little pup in person, any day but Monday, noon to 4 p.m.
