Alameda’s 11th Annual Autumn Job Fair at South Shore on September 18

More than 40 employers hiring at least 100 positions

Looking for a job? Shake hands and network face-to-face with top Bay Area employers from government, retail, shipping, restaurants, and more at Alameda’s 11th Annual Autumn Job Fair [1] on Thursday, September 18, 2 to 4 p.m. at the South Shore Shopping Center’s Center Court, across from Trabocco Restaurant.

Special bonus: The first 30 people to register online in advance [3] will receive a free professional LinkedIn headshot.

This year’s job fair will feature more than 40 businesses, public agencies, and nonprofit organizations seeking to fill over 100 temporary and permanent positions. These positions cover a wide variety of skill levels, providing an opportunity for local jobs to be filled by Alameda residents, including students from the College of Alameda.

Job seekers are encouraged to dress in interview-appropriate attire and bring printed copies of their resume.

To get there: From the parking lot, enter on foot between Safeway & Trader Joe’s. It’s less than a one-minute stroll to the Job Fair in Center Court, where you’ll see employers at tables under pop-up tents.

The 11th Annual Autumn Job Fair is a collaborative effort sponsored by the City of Alameda, the South Shore Shopping Center, Alameda County Social Services Agency, and the Alameda Chamber & Economic Alliance.
