Register for Alameda Youth Basketball’s (AYB) 2023-2024 basketball season online at the Sportability website. On the home page, type AYB in the “Find Your League” box, follow the simple instructions, and complete all forms. Or register in person on September 19 and 21, 7 to 8:30 p.m., at the Alameda Boys and Girls Club, 1900 Third Street. The registration fee is $175.

This is AYB’s 29th year of providing recreational basketball for elementary and middle school boys and girls. The nonprofit group’s mission is to foster the spirit of good sportsmanship, competition, teamwork, leadership, physical fitness, and an understanding of the game of basketball. The league is nondiscriminatory and does not deny for financial reasons the right of any otherwise eligible person to participate.
