Food Forest Fence-Raising at REAP Climate Center

Come help build REAP’s 1.2-acre food forest! On Sunday, March 31st and Monday, April 1st we will be assembling our sustainably-treated, reclaimed-wood fence to enclose our new food forest. We need your help to see this project through!

Volunteers will be tasked with helping prep, place, and steady our upcycled wooden fence posts. They will also help assemble the fence itself. This work may involve heavy lifting, group work, power tools, and fun!

Schedule for 3/31 & 4/1:

  • 10am – 1pm: Food Forest Fence-Raising
  • 1pm – 2pm: Community Break!*
  • 2pm – Sunset: Food Forest Fence-Raising

*Volunteers are welcome to bring lunch and hang around during our community break! Feel free to come as long or as little as you like.

Please fill out Mandatory Waiver for all participants.
