17th Annual Frank Bette Plein Air Paintout

The Frank Bette Plein Air Paintout hosts 40 juried artists for a week. Artists will paint tree-lined streets, stately Victorian homes, quaint shops, picturesque marinas, historic naval ships, as well as beaches, lagoons, parks, and San Francisco and Oakland skylines from the island city of Alameda, CA.

Hourly Schedule

Tuesday, August 2

8:30 a.m. - 9 a.m.
PAPO Artists and Community Artists sign up
9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Quick Draw
Artists will paint on and around Webster Street
Noon - 3 p.m.
Artwork on display and for sale at Healing Garden, 1435 Webster St.

Thursday, August 4

All Day
Off Island Day
Artists are given the option to paint from a location outside of Alameda.
4 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Mini Artworks Silent Auction

Saturday, August 6

10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
